What do I need to bring?

You need to bring:

1. 100 points of identification. Preferably 1 Photo ID (i.e. Current driver's licence) and 2 alternative forms of ID, whichverify your full name, date of birth and & residential address. See examples of accptable form of ID below:

•Driver's Licence
•Credit/Pension card
•Birth certificate
•Medicare card
•Utilities notice
•Bank statement

2. Confirmation of income stream/s. (i.e Last 4 employment pay slips, Centrelink income statements or similar)

3. Verification of income stream/s. in the form of a bank statement.

What can I Use a Personal Loan For?

You can use a Personal Loan for any worthwhile purpose. This can be anything from a holiday, education fees, car repairs, unexpected bill payments or even a wedding. If you have any other needs, feel free to talk to us about it.

How does a Personal Finance Co loan work?

It's simple, at Personal Finance Co we are here to help! You fill in an application, provide the relevant documentation and we process your application in under 45 mins. Once your loan is approved, we discuss the repayments and then set up your loan over a period of 30 days to 36 months depending on the loan product you have been approved for.

How do I apply for a loan?

You can apply online or in person at one of our Personal Finance Co branches. Supporting documentation such as 100 Points of I.D, Proof of Residence & Proof of Income will be required to assess your application. You can submit supporting documents via email, post, fax or in person at one of our Personal Finance Co branches.

What are the fees?

Will I pay less interest if I pay out my contract early?

Yes. The interest you can be charged depends on the actual time money is owing. We do not charge termination fees if you pay out our contract early.

Can I apply if I am bankrupt* or have a bad credit report?

Yes, you can apply. At Personal Finance Co we endeavour to give all our customers a fair go. Personal Finance Co process your loan application based on your current financial circumstances and is more interested in your financial future than the past. So if you have a poor credit history, been bankrupt or just been knocked back from the major banks why not give Personal Finance Co a go.

How much, for how long?

If you meet our lending criteria, you can borrow up to a maximum of $35,000. The minimum term of your Personal Loan is 1 month, with a maximum of 36 months, depending on the amount you wish to borrow and your capacity to make repayments. There is no penalty for early repayment.

Do you do credit checks?

As part of the loan application verification process, Personal Finance Co may be required to complete a credit check.

Can I apply for a loan if I am on Centrelink benefits?

YES, all applicants receiving Government benefits are eligible to apply for finance with Personal Finance Co.

How do I make the repayment?

You can choose from a variety of repayment methods, whatever is the easiest for you. Your options include direct debit, money order, cheque or you can drop into your local Westpac branch and deposit directly into our bank account. 
You can choose to make your repayments weekly, fortnightly or monthly, whatever best suits your needs.

What do I do if I cannot make a payment?

Get in touch with us immediately. We understand the importance of you maintaining a good credit rating and we will discuss your situation with you o see if we can come to some arrangement.
